The vision for The Hungry Hearth came to me when my husband and I were planning to expand our family. After a twenty-six-year career in telecommunications, I wanted to do something that made ME happy, and be able to be a (mostly) full time mom as well. I’ve always loved to cook for and feed people – it’s my love language. My specialty has always been comfort foods that makes people feel warm and cozy inside, like sitting next to a fire with a full belly. This business allows me to share my joy with others, while still making time to spend with my husband, teenage son, and new baby girl.
